A lifestyle session at Target. I think I can relate to this post a lot. Going to the store with a couple of kids wandering around, playing in the toy aisle and of course finishing the trip with buying things I wasn’t planning to in the first place. Target does it again. I love the idea of capturing my every day activities that I do.
I learned a couple of new ways to ride the shopping cart. The way the eldest girl rode the cart at the end of the session totally caught me off guard. I looked at mom and she said yep that’s how she rides the cart. My kids would love to know all these other ways to ride the shopping cart. To see more of this session continue after the jump.
This at home lifestyle photography session is one of my favorites because I really felt like I got to know who I was photographing. I got to see this little boy in action. I got to see how busy he is and what he likes to do. How many pictures do you have of your kids? A million plus right? How many pictures do you have of yourself playing with your kids? Probably not as many. It’s important to make an effort to be in front of the camera. You were there too! Not only were you there but you are a big reason why there is a smile on your kid’s face. This pretty mama is actually a wedding photographer who recently moved to North Carolina. If you want to be blown away by some stunning wedding images check out Marcie Meredith.
I can’t believe how many activities this kid did in a short amount of time. They played with cars, read superhero books, worked on a puzzle finished the session drinking some Naked Juice. What a fun age this little man is at right now.
To see more of this handsome and BUSY toddler continue after the jump
Do you remember the celebrate me series? This series is supposed to highlight other aspects of your life that you might not normally photograph. I want to show what activities make you. These running photos are of the same girl who did Barre and who is the mother of these children. She blogs over at Marathon Momma.
It was a beautiful morning for a run and to take pictures. We took them in a few different locations in Ransom Canyon. It was a treat to see the Texas Longhorns in the background and at the very end of the session a dog started running in the photos as well.
We woke up before sunrise to get these photos done. I snapped a few portraits of her and then she started running. Actually the photos are not just of running, I wanted to tell a story. As a runner myself, I know there is a lot more to running than the actual run. There is stretching, meditation and preparation (eating and drinking) for runs especially long ones. After taking these photos and seeing her blogging partner’s instagram, I really want some running pictures of myself. I absolutely loved photographing her and want to photograph more people running and being active.
