Anniversary Session/ Jacksonville Florida
This couple just celebrated their first anniversary and what better way than with an anniversary photo session. These were photographed at the Lubbock Arboretum. They brought a change of clothes. She showed me what she was wearing ahead of time so we were able to coordinate the scenery with their clothing a bit. I had them in the rose beds and poppies while she was wearing the red. I love how deliberately and carefully this couple chose their clothes and props. They looked perfect. They brought a chalkboard that said “I love you because you give me courage.” How true is that for couples. You marry someone who is going to make you better and give you confidence to do things. It was also so fun to take photos of a girl playing the guitar. She serenaded him! I loved watching them interact and be all lovey. We had a great time walking all around the arboretum and they were willing to pose for me as long as the sun was shining.

I am so glad anniversary sessions are becoming more popular. How special to have some nice photos of you and your spouse post marriage. I’ve told my husband we need to do an anniversary session. Let’s talk about how gorgeous this couple is. These photos were taken at Texas Tech. They chose this location because they are both employed by Texas Tech plus the campus is gorgeous. I thought the blazer on the guy was a great way to layer for him and keep the formal vibe. She of course looked absolutely stunning in her dress, beautiful gold sparkly shoes and earrings.They looked perfect. Plus, they were just so fun to talk to and hear their how we met story and dating. It’s always fun to see people’s eyes light up when they talk about their love story. She was always laughing and just so happy.They were such a pleasure to photography. Where would you like to have your anniversary session photographed?

Maternity: Jacksonville Maternity Photographer
These maternity photos were taken around Dunbar Lake in Lubbock, Texas. A little girl will be joining their family. They bought these adorable little boots for this Texas baby. They are going to make such wonderful parents.
I loved how the mother dressed for these photos. Her maxi dress was nicely accessorized with the braided belt, cardigan, pearls and gold shoes. I also liked the layering by dad here in the pictures and button-up with a sweater on top.
This couple was such a joy to photograph. They were so excited to expand their little family. I just loved watching how he doted on her. He helped her sit down and walk around to the different areas we took pictures in. He made sure she was safe and comfortable during the whole process. She is definitely treated like the queen that she is in her household. My favorite pictures from this session are shown last- they are laughing through this romantic tall field of hay.
