Anniversary Session/ {Jacksonville Couple Photography}
I am so glad anniversary sessions are becoming more popular. How special to have some nice photos of you and your spouse post marriage. I’ve told my husband we need to do an anniversary session. Let’s talk about how gorgeous this couple is. These photos were taken at Texas Tech. They chose this location because they are both employed by Texas Tech plus the campus is gorgeous. I thought the blazer on the guy was a great way to layer for him and keep the formal vibe. She of course looked absolutely stunning in her dress, beautiful gold sparkly shoes and earrings.They looked perfect. Plus, they were just so fun to talk to and hear their how we met story and dating. It’s always fun to see people’s eyes light up when they talk about their love story. She was always laughing and just so happy.They were such a pleasure to photography. Where would you like to have your anniversary session photographed?

Lubbock Arboretum /Jacksonville Family Photographer
These family photos were taken at the Lubbock Arboretum just like this family session. Do you recognize the youngest girl? I was able to do her cake smash/ first birthday session a few months ago. It’s so fun to see how much kids change and learn in a few months. She’s standing now! If you recall her mom made many of the items for the cake smash session. I shouldn’t have been surprised when she casually told me she made the girls headbands and their necklaces! She told me that she couldn’t find necklaces the color she was looking for so she had some beads lying around the house and made her girls the necklaces. They are so cute and add such a wonderful little detail. I think Mom did a great job making sure that the girls coordinated but didn’t match.

Holly Hop Ice Cream Shoppe/ Jacksonville Lifestyle Photographer
These lifestyle photos were taken at the Holly Hop Ice Cream Shoppe. I asked permission ahead of time and the shop owner was gracious enough to allow photos to be taken inside. It’s always wonderful to get portraits taken but lifestyle photography is so awesome because it’s about your family having fun together and doing what you normally do. Who doesn’t like to eat ice cream? It’s even better when it’s in a fun 50s themed ice cream parlor.
This mother owns the cute etsy shop Mae & Jane. I was delighted when I whispered lifestyle session to her she jumped at the chance. She also dressed her eldest daughter to fit the 50s vibe. The black gingham top, wrap headband and a sock bun. I was quite giddy when I saw the sock bun and I think more little girls should wear sock buns in their hair. While we waited for orders to be filled they listened to the jukebox and danced. I loved the images of the daddy daughter dance that I had to take my own family to Holly Hop the next week. The magic of childhood is seen here. The eldest got to pick her own flavor of ice cream. She danced, had lunch and then it was the big reveal of the ice cream. She was so excited. I also applaud the parents for letting her just be. She revealed her age while eating her ice cream cone. They also stay little and messy for so long.
